Christmas 2009 - Slideshow

Again this year, due to economic conditions, I won't be putting up a 10 foot live tree. It costs too much not just for purchase and delivery but the expense of lighting it. Also, I expect to travel for business during the month of December and perhaps even over the holiday period.

Here for you to enjoy are photos from Christmas 2007:

Oh my goodness, it is SO beautiful! I never thought to take close up photos of the tree. What a wonderful idea! I love what you did with all the family photos on the tree. You have inspired me! Thank you so much for sharing. Merry Christmas :)

That is beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I got lots of ideas for decorating, and for making things with my granddaughters!

The photography was excellent, and my next question will be what kind of camera did you use??

Merry Christmas!

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Sherry - I used a Sony Cybershot - max 6.0 megapixels but I used different settings such as soft glow, dark room, etc.

Beautiful pictures Thomas! I LOVE them! I also love that you took pictures of the ornaments as you did! Marvelous, again!

Thomas your tree and ornaments are absolutely beautiful and many look familiar. My Oma made me the walnut ornaments many years ago and I still have them. I love the photos, I have a small tree with photos of ancestors passed. Your close up shots are amazing, thank you for sharing, you have given me more ideas too! I can see you make Christmas very special too.
